ASUS T100TAM Transformer Book review reveals specs

By Peter Chubb - Nov 19, 2014

The ASUS T100TAM Transformer Book is a very sleek and premium looking device and you would have thought someone from Apple has had a go at designing this model. This is thanks to its brushed aluminum cover, which also helps to give it a little more weight.

What we love about this laptop is how it converts into a tablet just by taking its keyboard away. Its screen size measures 10 inches, which as we know is detachable, and so this 2-in-1 device allows the user to have far more freedom than they can with a standard laptop, although there are sacrifices.

Ok, so we know the ASUS T100TAM comes with a decent battery life of around 11 hours, but then this is to be expected with the kind of hardware it is sporting.

Main specs and features – The main component is its 1.46GHz Intel Bay Trail-T Quad Core Z3775 processor, which works in unison with its 2GB of RAM, which tells you right away this is more tablet than laptop. You have a choice of different storage options, so 32GB, 64GB eMMC both of which come with an option to add a 500GB hard drive. While there may not be a rear-facing camera, there is a 1.2-megapixel web camera up front. You can find more details on this device by downloading the manual.
