Earlier this month we took a look at the Nikon Coolpix L330 camera which featured a whopping 20.2MP sensor. Now though, it is time to look at a cheaper model, with a Nikon Coolpix S9600 review which features a slightly lower 16.0-Megapixel quality instead.
Despite having a lower megapixel count than the Coolpix L330, you’ll be pleased to hear that the Nikon Coolpix S900 specs are still more than capable for most consumers.
It features a 22x optical zoom, 4x digital zoom and a whopping 88x total zoom. The 3-inch display is HVGA quality, while video mode is available in full 1080p HD resolution.
Other features include optical image stabilization, self timer mode, burst mode, face detection and shockproof features. This camera is also WiFi enabled, while there is 23MB included as internal memory so you can still store some photos on the camera itself whilst you are waiting for an SD card upgrade.
On top of all this, some retailers are also offering the Nikon Coolpix S9600 26450 with a free camera case and SD card so it really is the perfect time to consider a purchase.
Price is obviously crucial though, as consumers won’t want to be paying over $200 for a 16 megapixel camera, with so many other tempting alternatives on the market.
