We can bring you an update on the Assassin’s Creed Unity problems now, with Ubisoft working around the clock trying to solve some of the issues that have plagued users since launch.
Now, we can confirm that the 1.02 and 1.2.0 update for PS4 and PC respectively have been deployed as Patch 2, with Ubisoft now working on the Assassin’s Creed Unity 1.03 PS4 update and the 1.3.0 update for PC players.
We can see that Ubisoft has now set up a live updates page here, allowing players to keep track of what is happening in the game on all platforms and the progress so far on the next fixes – which will be the Assassin’s Creed Unity Patch 3.
More importantly though, we can bring you a heads-up on the exact issues that Ubisoft are working on at the moment which could make it into the next updates listed above.
Ubisoft has detailed everything here and they are divided into updates that are specifically on the way to all three platforms – Xbox One, PS4 and PC. For example, issues that are affecting all three platforms include framerate, graphical issues, matchmaking co-op issues and problems with the Assassin’s Creed Unity Companion app.
Specifically on PS4 however, Ubisoft has confirmed that they are looking into a problem with PS4 owners getting the CE-34878-0 error code on Assassin’s Creed Unity.
Some of you cannot even launch the game on PC full stop, but you’ll be pleased to hear that Ubisoft has now acknowledged this problem and are working on a fix as we speak.
