HP 15-f004wm laptop review with specs

By Peter Chubb - Nov 12, 2014

Finding the perfect gift at this time of the year has become easier in one respect because of the great choice in products, but it is also that great choice that also makes it very tough because it is so hard to know just what to get. Take the laptop market, this has become so much more competitive over the past few years because they are fighting for survival against tablets. However, with the end of 2014 in sight there are some remarkable sales about to happen and we already know there will be a good selection, with the HP 15.6-inch 15-f004wm laptop set for huge demand, and so we will have a review of its specs.

This laptop is not designed with performance in mind, and so you might need to look elsewhere for that, but if it is all about studying, surfing the internet or basic multimedia functions, then this could be just what you are looking for.

What’s important – Those main specs that you will be looking for are an Intel Celeron N2830 Processor and the the 15.6-inch LED Backlight with HD BrightView Display. Don’t confuse this with the (15-F010WM) touchscreen model, as this is the non-touch version. The display still has the same 1366 × 768 though.

Other key features are that CPU that can go from 2.16GHz to 2.41GHz thanks to Turbo Boost, and mixed with its 4GB of RAM really does make this a laptop to consider. As for connectivity, there is built-in WiFi, 2 USB 3.0 ports and 1 HDMI 2.0, as well as a HDMI and card reader. Installed software consist of Windows 8.1 and Skype.

You are unable to download the full list of specs in PDF like the touch model above, and so you may want to visit Walmart for more details on this, although if you were looking for reviews, you will also be disappointed. Remember to keep an eye out as we often see HP laptop doorbuster deals, so you could get lucky with this one.
