The cargo van has proven very popular in recent years, this is because they are much easier to use in busy cities because they are smaller, and so easier to navigate around the hustle and bustle. This segment is dominated with the likes of Ford, Chevy and Nissan, but FIAT it ready to take them on with its new 2015 Ram Promaster City.
FIAT’s new member to the RAM family is the smaller sibling to the popular ProMaster and there is plenty of choice in terms of models, and so we will now look at the cost of each of these options.
The price for the base model, which is the Tradesman Cargo is $23,130, although there is the destination charge to go on top of that figure. Next is the Tradesman SLT Cargo, which is not much more really, as this model will set you back $24,655, also with the destination fee. There is also the Wagon for 24,130 and Wagon SLT for $25,655, which are both passenger-oriented.
All models come with the same engine, and that is a 2.4-liter Tigershark four, which produces 178 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque. As for fuel-economy, you will be able to achieve 21mpg city, 26 highway and 24 miles per gallon combined. For more details read this press release.
