By Peter Chubb - Nov 11, 2014

The Beats by Dr. Dre Beatbox Portable Speaker comes in white or black, the model number for each are 900-00068-01 and 900-00067-01 respectively. There will no doubt be some of you out there that believe these speakers are getting on bit in age now, as less people are choosing to go with dock solutions and would rather Bluetooth. However, you will notice this model offers full Bluetooth support.

There have been older versions of this speaker, and so it is nice to see a few changes have been made, although they are very hard to see from the outside. Maybe it is a case of, if it ain’t broke, then don’t fix it?

Ss let us take a look at the specs for the Beats by Dr. Dre Beatbox portable speaker, first of which are 2 high/mid drivers that help to deliver precise sound, while the 5-1/4″ long-throw bass driver brings the deep bass to the party. If your device playing the music does not have Bluetooth, then you can connect it via USB or an Auxiliary input for MP3 players and portable audio device support.

When choosing to connect via Bluetooth you can sync up to 4 devices at once, making it ideal if you have a few friends round and want to have a diverse range of music playing.
