Dell Inspiron 11 3000 Series 2-in-1 review for 2014

By Peter Chubb - Nov 8, 2014

The Dell Inspiron 11 3000 Series 2-in-1 model number 3147 is not the newest convertible-hybrid laptop on the market right now, but with its competitive price and good build quality this could be a perfect gift in 2014 for those of you struggling to know what to buy that certain someone in your life. This product bridges the gap between a laptop and tablet, so ideal for those who like to have both, but do not wish to purchase separate devices.

Many of you will already know that you can use this just like a laptop, and when the need arrises you can fold the screen completely over for it to be transformed into a tablet, although a little thicker than your average tablet. With this running on Windows 8.1, it is more like a very thick Surface Pro.

There are multiple reviews for this device all over the Internet, although one of the better ones would be the the review from PC Mag, as it goes in depth, and covers all the main aspects of this 2-in-1 laptop/tablet device. If you are more into video reviews, then the first video below runs for more than 13 minutes, and in that time you get a much closer look into how Dell’s Inspiron 11 ticks and if it is worth the money. The second video is a hands-on at Computex 2014, with a detailed look at its Bay Trail processor. If after looking at these reviews you would rather a touchscreen laptop instead, then you could consider the Dell Inspiron 15 3000 Series.
