GTA V First Person not for Xbox 360, PS3

By Alan Ng - Nov 4, 2014

We were due some big GTA V news on PS4 and Xbox One this week and now Rockstar has delivered on it. We can confirm that the next-gen versions and PC will be getting GTA V first person mode, allowing players to play the game from an entirely different perspective – it looks fantastic.

The downside to this though, is that it is going to be exclusive to PS4, Xbox One and PC. That means GTA V First Person mode for PS3 and Xbox 360 is not happening and it’s a disappointing reality for those that will now be thinking of the upgrade.

We knew that Rockstar needed a big incentive to get consumers to upgrade to the next-gen and PC version – now we have it. Business is business after all and gamers simply wouldn’t buy the game again if they didn’t have enough reason to.

Now we have a big incentive attached to the new versions and GTA V looks like a completely new experience in first person mode. Rockstar has released a new GTA V trailer for PS4, Xbox One and PC showing off the brand new mode in question.

What we haven’t seen yet is any sign of when GTA Online Heists will be appearing. We thought that this mode may be the incentive for next-gen versions but now we have First Person instead.

The main question that we wanted to ask you: Is First Person GTA V mode a big enough reason to justify a purchase on PS4, Xbox One or PC for you, or do you want to see even more? Watch the trailer below and let us know what you think.
