SingStar: Ultimate Party price at Sainsbury’s hunted

By Peter Chubb - Oct 24, 2014

PS3 and PS4 owners have been searching on the Internet in the hope to learn the SingStar: Ultimate Party price at Sainsbury’s, but as you know you can no longer purchase video games from the retailer online. However, the price is still being hunted because often forums offer such details, but again there was no such information.

However, we decided to phone up a local Sainsbury’s retail store to find out how much they are charging for SingStar: Ultimate Party. The gentlemen on the phone had to do a bit of walking, which we are thankful for and informed us that the PS4 version of the game is £22.99, which is a pound more expensive than ASDA.

However, they did remind us that the SingStar: Ultimate Party price for the PS3 version is unavailable due to it not being released until October the 28th. If we go on the basis of it being £1 more expensive that ASDA, then Sainsbury’s is expected to charge £18.99 for the PS3 version.

We did ask if Sainsbury’s were offering any sort of SingStar: Ultimate Party deal, such as spend a certain amount on shopping in-store and get £5 off, but they are not doing any such offer, although we do expect they will for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare next month.

The SingStar Facebook page has been inundated with PS3 owners complaining that they have to wait another 4 days, why new PS4 users get to experience the all-new SingStar.
