SingStar PS3 songs free on PS4 at launch?

By Daniel Chubb - Oct 14, 2014

If you have amassed a massive song list for SingStar on your PS3, then you will certainly be hunting for the free songs on PS4 at launch. The release date is Friday next week, October 24th in the UK, and some people want to know the SingStar PS4 song list that’s free after bought on PS3.

This is different to the SingStar PS4 tracklist that comes with the Ultimate Party edition on PS3 and PS4. You can see the list of songs included within this title below, although nearly everyday since this news we’ve seen people asking about the free songs available if already purchased on PS3.

While this list is impressive and will be welcomed by those purchasing the latest title in this music game franchise, it isn’t the list a lot of die-hard SingStar fans want. If you amassed many songs, like one of the PR team, then you would want to transfer many of those songs to your new PS4 SingStar edition.

So, what about the Singstar PS3 songs that can transfer to PS4? The latest update we had in-regard to this question can be seen within a tweet below. This is an official statement from SingStar HQ on Twitter, so it’s clear the PS4 song database isn’t final just yet or not allowed to be released.

We just hope when SingStar releases on PS4, they will make it easy to download all songs purchased already on PS3. It would be good to have a nice list within our account or SingStar online, rather than having to hunt for those that are downloadable for free.

How would you like to see a list of PS4 SingStar songs that you can download for free thanks to purchasing them before? With just a few days to go until both the UK and USA release dates, it’s not long until we find out how good the system is for long-time SingStar users.

I really hope they make it easy for us PS3 SingStar owners to download our purchases for free. I really don’t want to spend hours looking for them.
