Plants vs Zombies 2 update Big Wave Beach Part 1 live

By Daniel Chubb - Oct 14, 2014

The Plants vs Zombies 2 Big Wave Beach Part 1 update for iPad and iPhone is now live, which moves the action-strategy game to version 2.9.1. PopCap has produced 16 new levels within the Plants vs Zombies 2 beach update, although this is only the first part with more levels arriving within the same theme in due course.

You will find six new zombies, four plants with Chomper returning, Lawn of Doom tricks, and much more. Many of these new characters are given the beach theme, like the Mermaid Imp and Bikini Zombie.

Other additions include a new mini-game called Bowling Bulb, Ghost Pepper plant that’s available for a limited time, ability to dress your plants within The Costume Changer, and each level changing with Dynamic high and low tides.

The update today can be downloaded directly on iTunes, or via the App Store within your iOS device. We should also mention that there will be Halloween-themed costumes arriving from October 24, and this is thanks to Lawn of Doom Piñata Parties.
