Tomorrow is a big deal for gamers in the UK, as there are four big titles coming, one of which is NBA 2K15. We have been looking forward to this game all year, so nice to know it is almost here, although we have heard some people managed to get their hands on the game early thanks to some faster then expected shipments. If you have yet to pre-order the game because you would rather head to your local retailer on the day, which is October 10th, then you have a choice.
The top three stores in the UK that gamers usually head to are ASDA, GAME and Tesco, although there is also Argos and SMYTHS Toys; so how do they compare price wise? Below we will look at the prices from each store and the different platform options to find out who is the better option.
First up is ASDA, and the UK British supermarket chain is selling NBA 2K15 for £37 on the PS3 and Xbox 360, and £44 on the PS4 and Xbox One. There’s also the PC version for £30. As for GAME, the cost is £37.99 for previous-gen versions and £44.99 for current generation.
The NBA 2K15 price at Tesco is as follows, £36.00 for the 360 and PlayStation 3, £44.00 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and £30 for the PC.
Argos is more expensive, as prices are £37.99 for previous generations consoles and £46.99 for new-gen. Last, but not least we have SMYTHS Toys, with the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game costing £39.99 and £49.99 for their newer siblings. It is pretty clear that SMYTHS is the store to stay well clear off when buying this game, with Tesco’s being the best option.
