Rockstar added some new content with the GTA V 1.16 Last Team Standing update, but what has been discovered following on from the update is actually something much worse. It has been confirmed that GTA V hackers have found a new and somewhat disturbing method to get unlimited GTA Online money, simply by entering PS3 PSN and Xbox 360 Gamertags.
On first impression, it looks like Rockstar’s worse nightmare as it appears very easy to do. Perhaps a bigger problem is that the hack is happening outside of the game on an external website, with those using it promising that it will also work on the forthcoming GTA V 1.17 update.
The website responsible claims to offer instant ‘rewards’ such as $100,000,000, all of the weapons colours unlocked, god mode, super jump and much more.
The creators of the website are seemingly using cloud technology to bypass Rockstar’s security and one video below is using the same tool to hand out free cash to those that leave PSN names and Gamertags in the comments section.
It goes without saying that Rockstar will need to sort this out as soon as possible before it escalates into a major problem for the GTA V Online community on a whole.
