New Nexus 10 rugged case for 2014 by Gumdrop

The nexus 10 is starting to get on a bit, and the expected new 2014 model earlier this year was a no show. However, with its cheap price and now mid-range specs, it is still a worthwhile Android tablet to own. However, we having such a large tablet there is more chance to damage it if you drop it due to its weight.

Case makers are still supporting these older tablets, and Gumdrop recently released a new Nexus 10 rugged case. The Drop tech case has one sole purchase, and that is to keep this 10-inch tablet safe, although there is always a limit as to how safe these accessories can keep these devices.

Main Drop Tech Case features for Google Nexus 10-inch tablet – With its ruggedized finish the case offers shock absorption, drop protection, ready to go hard-core, and has extreme ruggedness all of which makes it ideal for those taking it on various adventurers.

This is said to be one of the toughest cases of its kind, although that would still not make me want to try it out on purpose like many of the drop tests on YouTube. All the its ports are covered over to stop water and dust from getting in, and there is an integrated screen cover to prevent it from scratching.

Gumdrop offers this case in two color options, black and red, or all black and costs $49.95.
