The reviews have started to arrive just a few days away from the Alien: Isolation release date on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and previous generation consoles. The story is set many years before Aliens and just 15 years after the Alien movie, and today we wanted to highlight a number of Isolation reviews to give you an overall look at how blogs are rating this title.
Rather than getting a clear look at how good, or bad, Alien: Isolation is from a review perspective. It seems we’re seeing a mixed bunch of scores from some of the biggest gaming websites, so we’d also love to hear what Product Reviews readers make of the scores.

The Guardian give full marks at 5/5, followed by Games Radar, Digital Spy and The Escapist at just under a full score at 4.5/5. Destructoid reviewed Alien: Isolation with a score of 8.5/10, CVG 8, GameFront 9.2, and PCGamer 9.3. These ratings were pretty positive, but there’s plenty of average scores as seen below.
IGN weren’t impressed with a 5.9/10 and they join many other average ratings like a 6/10 from Gamespot, Polygon at 6.5, and above average 7/10 from GamerZone. As you can see, these ratings and many others are very diverse with from average to high review scores.
