Diztronic Voyeur iPhone 6 case in drop test

We always have to question people’s sanity when they decide they wish to perform a drop test on an new handset, as it shows they have a complete disregard for money, and also crave attention. With that being said, it is still cool to watch them, especially if things go south. The latest is the Diztronic Voyeur iPhone 6 case drop test that is being performed by a young lad who does’t look old enough to afford a new smartphone – has he told his parents?

The Diztronic Voyeur case is pretty basic in design as it is light and thin, and so only offers a limited amount of protection, which makes this test even more brave. However, the reinforced corners and raised edges allows the case to do far better than you would think.

In the video we are told that the drop tests are from various heights and angles, with the first being dropped on the bottom of the case to see how well it stands up to the impact. The next test is to drop it on its back, to see if those raised edges help with protecting the iPhone 6.

The final test is the most risky, as it is face down to see if the screen sustains any damage. I have to say, it made me feel a little sick hearing the sound of the phone smacking on the ground. We will not give anything away, and so we ask that you watch the video to see the results.
