BlackBerry Passport price in India with Rs 5,000 incentive

BlackBerry has had a torrid time over the past few years because no matter what new phone they release, they are unable to recreate the success from many years ago. However, times have changed, as back in the day Apple and Google never had a big stake in the cell phone market. Anyway, that is all in the past now seeing as though BlackBerry has a new device out called the Passport, and is their next stab at a hit.

The BlackBerry Passport is a strange handset with its form-factor, although could prove a success for some markets, such as India. The BlackBerry Passport price in India is Rs. 49,990, which could prove an important factor, although the likes of Amazon.in has an incentive to make this an even more attractive deal.

If you pre-book the BlackBerry Passport before October 10th on Amazon’s India site, then you will receive Rs 5,000 worth of vouchers, as well as Jet Mileage for the same value. You can order direct from BlackBerry Stores as well, although there are no deals, and so you might want to consider the former buying option.

It is the hope that the Passport will prove popular in India, seeing as though this is such an important market for BlackBerry, and while its form-factor will not be the deciding issue, its keypad might. This is because it is more functional than its other handsets, as it is also touch sensitive.
