Ryder Cup 2014 standings in Android, iOS app

By Peter Chubb - Sep 26, 2014

The Ryder Cup 2014 live standings after Day 1 has gone in favor of the USA team, although the European Team did not let them have it all their own way thanks to Rory McIlroy and Sergio Garcia. Justin Rose and Henrik Stenson also played a good round, and so it will be interesting to see how events progress during Day 2.

In order to keep fully up-to-date with the Ryder Cup 2014 standings, you can do this via Android or iOS devices thanks to the official apps from PGA.com. Both apps are the same, and so come with a host of features to keep you in the loop. These apps are the ones used last year, although have been updated for this year’s tournament, as well as bringing in some improvements.

Both the Android, iPad and iPhone versions have had some minor bug fixes, and the latter two now come with iOS 8 support. Some of the main features include all the Ryder Cup 2014 dates, standings, teams, schedule, live streaming and video coverage, latest news and updates, and customizable player, score and breaking news notifications.

While the radio feed is a good feature, it would be made better if you could play this while the screen on your mobile device was off. Going back to one of the supposed features, we have been told that the live video does not work, although we have yet to know if this is an isolated issue.
