LifeProof Fre vs. Nuud iPhone 6 case differences

By Peter Chubb - Sep 26, 2014

Lifeproof has yet to introduce its new range of iPhone 6 cases, but we do know they will consist of two models, the Fre and Nuud. Even though we do not have any images, feature details, release date or even price, we can gauge an idea of what is to come by looking at the current iPhone 5 and 5S versions of these cases.

LifeProof Fre vs. Nuud iPhone 6 case differences – The nüüd for iPhone 5/5s is described as coming with screenless technology while the Fre has a built-in scratch protector covering the entire touchscreen. LifeProof promotes these two cases with four main features, which we explain below.

LifeProof Fre vs. Nuud iPhone 6 cases

The LifeProof Nuud has a waterproof seal, which can be opened for direct touch, there is zero visual interference from glare or contrast saturation. The case is also fully waterproof, dirt, snow and drop proof.

As for the LifeProof Fre, it is also those things, but adds a built-in scratch screen protector and is the most robust protective cover in its case range.

LifeProof asks for $89.99 for the Nuud and comes in a choice of four colors. As for the price of the LifeProof Fre, there are three different versions of this, the standard, Now and finally Realtree, prices of which are $79.99, $79.99 and $89.99 respectively.

We can’t be certain how these models will change when compared to the iPhone 6 models once released, but we hope the wait is not a long one.
