By Daniel Chubb - Sep 25, 2014

By now, most of you will know the iOS 8.01 update release notes seen in the screenshot below are about to become an old changelog. This is due to the fact that many iPad and iPhone users experienced problems after installing this software update.

We wanted to list the iOS 8.01 release notes for this update that has now been pulled to give insight to others. If you didn’t manage to install the new software, then this is a good thing but you might want to know what will be coming in either iOS 8.01 or the iOS 8.02 update expected this week still.

It Apple fix some glitches in iOS 8.01, then you can expect the same update to arrive again with fixes to initial bugs. The list of changes will still be there for the next instalment, so take a look at what you can look forward to when the iOS 8.01 update releases to everyone again after it’s fixed.

Before the fixes were pulled, the iOS 8.01 update release notes contained bug fixes to HealthKit apps, issues with 3rd party keyboards, fixes to apps not being able to access the Photo Library, improved reliability for Reachability on iPhone 6 / Plus, better cellular data usage, fixed ringtone problems, and fixes to Safari when trying to upload videos and photos.

We expect most of these fixes to stick with the iOS 8.02 /revised 8.01 update along with fixes for the pulled software as well. You should also note that users can downgrade from iOS 8.01 to iOS 8, or maybe even wait and upgrade to the iOS 8.02 update or revised 8.01 version.
