iOS 8 Swype keyboard review

By Peter Chubb - Sep 23, 2014

There are now more keyboard options available to iOS 8 users than there were for iOS 7, and we already looked over some of the best that are in the App Store. One that caught our eye was Nuance’s Swype Keyboard for iOS, and so we thought we would take a closer look. Before we get too ahead of ourselves, we thought you would like to know that the app is just $0.99, which isn’t too bad.

Since taking a little look at this app a new version has been released, as Swype version 1.0.1419 now comes with several improvements, one of which helps to counter the installation issues some people were having.

The best way to show you just what this app has to offer is with a iOS 8 Swype keyboard review, which is all ready for your viewing pleasure below, although it is based on the first version. This is not an issue because the features and how the app works remains the same.

In the video, which runs for over 5 minutes, you are shown how to use the Swype keyboard, as well as the feature that learns new words that it does not understand. It will be interesting to see how this app develops in time, but for now it is well worth the download.
