iOS 8 downgrade to 7.1.2 before Apple stops signing

Questions have been asked as to when will Apple stop signing iOS 7.1.2, and the simple answer is, they will either stop signing this week or next. With this in mind, you had best hurry if you are not happy and wish to perform an iOS 8 downgrade, as time is running out fast.

iOS 8 downgrade to 7.1.2 is not as hard as you may think, but you need to make certain that your device can run that previous version. This means if you wondered what it would be like to run the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus on iOS 7.1.2, then you are out of luck.

However, all iPads after the original will work, so perfect for all of those who have seen their iPad Air battery life drain faster than usual after upgrading to iOS 8.

To help explain this process as easy as possible we have managed to locate a tutorial on YouTube, which is simply titled “How to downgrade iOS 8 to iOS 7.1.2”.

If you have followed those instructions and you find you were not able to revert back to iOS 7.1.2, we suspect that would mean Apple has stopped signing that firmware.
