GTA V 1.17 update in Sept, or Oct?

By Daniel Chubb - Sep 22, 2014

There’s a clear pattern hinting at the Grand Theft Auto V 1.17 update coming later than most PS3 and Xbox 360 owners would want. With each month moving towards the PC, PS4, and Xbox One version we’re seeing the current release receive new content in longer intervals. This will likely mean the GTA V 1.17 update isn’t going to launch this week.

We are now past a month since the previous DLC, and this used to signal a new GTA V update due on the coming Tuesday. This isn’t the case anymore, especially considering the previous addition took 50 days to arrive.

If we see a similar gap with the GTA V 1.17 update, then you can count on it not releasing in September and more like a date around Tuesday, October 7th. This won’t please Product Reviews readers hoping to see the GTA V 1.17 update release tomorrow, Rockstar’s favorite day of the week to launch updates to GTA Online.

Can you really see Rockstar making September the first month we haven’t seen an update for Grand Theft Auto V? Do you expect to see the GTA V 1.17 update in September, or October?

There are those that blame attention being put on PC and the latest consoles, although we’ll leave our readers to debate this in the comments.

This all PCs fault for the delays in heists and other DLCs.

It would be a major blunder for Rockstar to miss some kind of Anniversary update, imho.
