During Apple’s keynote they said that the iPhone 6 was its best and most advanced smartphone to date, although Android fans learned about this and laughed. They had that reaction because of the specs and found that the iPhone 6 hardware seemed a little behind when compared to rivals, although iOS users never think too much about up-to-the-minute hardware, as it is more about the complete package.
Now that the iPhone 6 has been released, it is that time of year that we start to look towards rival smartphones due to be released early next year, and the two main contenders are the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the LG G4.
Even though the new iPhone does not have the latest and greatest hardware and features, that has not stopped it and its larger sibling from selling more than 10 million units in such a short amount of time. The Galaxy S5 was a powerhouse in terms of its innards, but this never translated into sustained high sales, and so Samsung will need to pull a rabbit out of the bag next time.
The Galaxy S6, and LG G4 specs potential after the iPhone 6 – We have been collecting all sorts of details up over the past couple of weeks, and it is a high possibility that Samsung could finally give Android users the radical design change they had been promised a couple of years ago. We don’t expect the screen size will change, although a flexible display is on the cards, as is a more powerful Exynos 5 Hexa core processor. 4GB of RAM is a distinct possibility, which is much more than the 1GB of memory that the iPhone 6 has.
Longer talk-time is a must, and so a 4000mAh Li-Ion battery has been rumored. There is a Facebook page that is dedicated to all things Galaxy S6, which you should keep tabs on.
The LG G3 was an underrated phone, even though some Android fans conceded it to be better than the S5. With that being said, there are high hopes for the G4, although LG will need to up it games when it comes to marketing. There is a rather interesting website that looks at the design, along with some of the wanted specs.
A 2K 5.5 inch display has been highly rumored, as has a 16 megapixel camera with OIS, 3GB of RAM, Snapdragon 805 processor and a 3450 mAh battery to keep things powered up for as long as possible. It is expected that the LG G4 exterior body could be made from metal, which you can see in the concept video below.
Remember, these specs and features are based on rumors, and so these are subject to debate.
Do you think there will be a renewed interest in the Galaxy S6 and the LG G4 now that we are moving towards the end of the year?
