Goat Simulator for Android, iOS released early

By Peter Chubb - Sep 17, 2014

When we first learned about Goat Simulator, we assumed that it was some sort of April Fools, but it didn’t take long to find out that it was the real deal. The game was to be released on Android and iOS as a mobile version, and the Xbox One.

If you are waiting anxiously for its release on Xbox One, then maybe the premature release of Goat Simulator on Android and iOS will keep you occupied? We had assumed the game would not be released for another couple of days, so it is nice to see the app made available on the very day that Apple is to release iOS 8.

Looking on iTunes we can see that Goat Simulator is optimized for the iPhone 5, and so we do not know how it will perform on the iPhone 6 or 6 Plus, but I guess we will find that out on Friday.

For those that do not know, the game has been designed to be intentionally glitchy, which means the goat will act in some very strange ways, much like we have seen early beta console games react when being tested by the public.

If you don’t mind having a laugh, then you should really give the game a go, but we have to warn that the Goat Simulator price is $5 in the US and £2.99 in the UK.
