Apple Sept 9 event countdown teases live coverage

By Daniel Chubb - Sep 6, 2014

Apple has officially revealed their September 9th special event countdown on the main website, which not only teases live video coverage, but also a countdown that will stop at the 6PM UK start time (10AM PST).

We love countdowns for the fact it makes knowing when the Apple keynote will start even easier. No matter what country you are in, once the countdown reaches zero you’ll be able to view a live video stream for this years special event.

Expect to see two models of iPhone 6, the much rumored iWatch with a flexible sapphire display, and a full presentation of iOS 8 with some features not yet revealed.

When you head to apple.com/live you will see the special event countdown is currently at 3 days and 4 hours. Below this, there’s a calendar that will set the start time and date within your chosen application.

Will you be watching on Tuesday, September 9 for the news as it breaks? You can expect to see live Apple special event coverage on their little black TV box as well. The small print explains video requirements with the 2nd/3rd generation Apple TV mentioned, which pretty much confirms coverage on that device.
