We all know that Google has a new tablet in the works, with the company trying to keep their Nexus 8 and Nexus 9 tablets a secret but failing. New Nexus 9 benchmarks have again leaked out, suggesting that the Nexus 9 specs upon arrival are going to be well worth the wait.
We are also hearing that India consumers have reason to celebrate as well, with persistent rumors suggesting that a Nexus 9 India release is firmly on the cards with the initial rollout.
Now, we can see real evidence that the Nexus 9 or Nexus 8.9 is already in the wild since it has shown up on the Antutu benchmark revealing some very interesting hardware.
They include an Nvidia Tegra K1 Denver 64-bit processor and a 1440×2560 display resolution which sounds very luxurious. Another important piece of information is that the benchmark also reveals that the tablet is manufactured by HTC as heavily rumored and also that it is running Android 5.0 as well – which should be Android L when it is announced in a more official capacity.

As for an India release, take a look at the Tweet above from Android leakers upleaks which teases that the Nexus 9, or HTC T1 will be heading to India in GSM and LTE formats as well as other countries, which is obviously great.
All we need Google to do is reveal the tablet to the world once and for all. We have a feeling that it may happen closer to when Apple reveals their new iPad models – it would be the perfect counterattack.
Are you already willing to buy the new Nexus tablets whenever they are ready?
