The PlayStation 3 4.65 firmware update is now live with just a small change in the release notes, which states this download will be for improved system stability when using certain software. There might be other hidden features, although we’ll need to take a look after the PS3 4.65 update is installed.
If any of our readers notice any new features, or experience problems when downloading the PS3 update 4.65, then please leave a comment detailing what those issues are. You should also note that you might have download problems during the PSN downtime being experienced right now, and this seems to be related to the ongoing attacks and not planned maintenance like the sign in error message seems to hint towards.
You can see the official tweet by @PlayStation below, which pretty much repeats the details on Sony’s official firmware page. You might want to take a look at the firmware page if you need to learn about other ways to install this system software.
