Optoma HD141X projector at Insomnia gaming festival

The new Optoma HD141X projector will be demoed by Box at the 2014 Insomnia gaming festival during the August Bank Holiday weekend in Coventry, UK. The event will take place at the Ricoh Arena and the organisers expect to see over 25,000 gamers attend.

Box will showcase the Optoma HD141X and GT1080 projectors on a massive screen in full 1080p HD. During the Insomnia gaming festival, visitors will be able to buy either projector at a low price of £649.99 along with a screen.

Features include a 3,000 Lumen brightness. powerful built-in 10W speakers, 3D, a dedicated Gaming Mode, and easy connectivity with two HDMI inputs. You can see further Optima HD141X specifications within the table below.

The dedicated gaming mode will allow the projector to offer an optimised display for ideal lightning response times, vivid colours, and of course maximum contrast. This allows the gamer to focus on playing rather than messing around with settings.

You can see a close up of the Optoma HD141X projector connection ports on the back below, which clearly reveals 2 HDMIs, a USB, audio out jack, and a connection for 3D SYNC.
