New Angry Birds Stella trailer lacks gameplay

By Updated on

Rovio has released a new Angry Birds Stella trailer and if you were hoping to be treated to some gameplay, then you will be disappointed. It seems a bit strange not to have seen gameplay seeing as though its release will be next month, and the fact that we have known about this game since February.

Angry Birds Stella release date looks set for September 4th, which is a shame seeing as though I will be on vacation lying by the pool. It’s hard to get the idea behind the story just from the videos we have seen so far, although we can clearly see that the next spin-off from Angry Birds will be fun, as well as feature a good deal of action.

The trailer is called “Angry Birds Stella: My Name Is Stella!” and runs for just 19 seconds. We can see from the video that while she might be cute and cuddly, once you push her she will reveal a very hot temper.

We are uncertain on platform support, but the game is certain to be released on Android and iOS. There is a good chance of the app coming to Windows Phone, but we do not know if it will be right away.

Angry Birds Stella characters – Stella will be joined by her friends Dahlia, Luca, Poppy and Willow, and last but not least the evil Gale aka Bad Princess. Rovio looks set to bring a whole new audience to its Angry Birds franchise, as it is clear to see that this upcoming gaming app will appeal to young teenage girls.
