White Xbox One release date in US, UK revived

By Updated on

We have a very encouraging update to bring you now on the status of the highly anticipated white Xbox One release date in US and UK. Microsoft has been silent on the white version which is currently exclusive to employees, but following a similar move as Sony, it looks like you’ll be able to get your hands on it at retail later this year.

A listing has leaked, revealing that the white Xbox One public release will be attached to Sunset Overdrive, the exciting exclusive title on the way to Xbox One at the end of October by Ratchet and Clank developers Insomniac.

The listing in question reveals that a white Xbox One is going to be bundled with Sunset Overdrive and will be available on October 28, the same date as the game’s launch.

The white Xbox One price has also been disclosed, as those in the EU could be set to pay 399 Euros for the console and a copy of Sunset Overdrive which isn’t bad at all.

The details were soon removed by the retailer after it became widespread knowledge, but not before the incriminating details were once again captured by eagle-eyed users over at Neogaf forums.

Microsoft has not said anything official on the Sunset Overdrive Xbox One bundle, but considering that Sony are offering a white PS4 console around the same period – it makes perfect sense to us that Microsoft would follow suit.

While we love seeing that white console, we think the controller looks even better in black and white as pictured in the image below. Let us know if you would be willing to buy a Sunset Overdrive console bundle later this year.
