Hearthstone players on PC, Mac and iPad may be enjoying the fantastic Curse of Naxxramas expansion that Blizzard has released, but for everyone else there’s the little matter of the missing Hearthstone iPhone release date.
For some reason, this is taking longer than some users had expected – especially given that Blizzard has already pushed out Hearthstone for iPad as an official release.
It means that it isn’t a problem with the iOS platform itself, but other areas which Blizzard are seemingly having issues with. We can tell you that a release is potentially still a while away, as just a few days ago, Blizzard shared the following update on the status of the iPhone version:
@_syafuan_ We have never promised a July release date for the iPhone – it's still in development!
— Hearthstone (@PlayHearthstone) July 31, 2014
As you can see, Hearthstone is still in development on iPhone so the odds of a Summer release as initially expected may look rather bleak now. Those looking for Hearthstone Android release dates on both phone and tablet may be waiting even longer as well since iPhone will likely be prioritized in a similar fashion to the iPad release.
Are you starting to get frustrated on the wait with a lack of frequent updates from Blizzard on the iPhone version? We told you recently that users have already explored the idea of workarounds to get Hearthstone iPhone running via Remote Desktop PC software.
How long are you willing to wait for a Hearthstone iPhone release date? Give us your thoughts on this below if you have been waiting for months.
