Cost of Polaris Slingshot customization options

By Updated on

The release date for the Polaris Slingshot is expected to be in September, a full year before the Elio three-wheeler car. We already have details of the Slingshot base price, along with the SL model, but what of those custom options to make yours that little more special?

When you visit the Polaris website you will have the option of which model you would rather, so the Base and SL, which costs $19,999 and $23,999 respectively.

There is not much you can do in order to customize your Slingshot, although as the vehicle grows in popularity we are certain this will change. It shows that there are wheel options, although when you click there is only one option.

If you have the base model you can opt for the Premium Wheel Kit at a price of $1,899.99, although these come as standard on the SL model. The cheaper model also has the option to upgrade to either a Blade or Double Windshield kit, for a price of $499.99 and $399.99 respectively. As for the SL model, the Blade Windshield is standard, although you can still go for the double version, again, this will cost $399.99.

There are various custom options under the electronics category; these include infotainment center kit, which consists of a display, radio, speakers and a rear camera. These come as part of the SL package, although the various iPhone mounts do not.

The only other options are an Interior LED Lighting Kit and a choice of different covers to help protect your Slingshot from the weather.

If you had your way, what other customization would you like Polaris bring to the Slingshot?
