GTA V Zombie DLC almost confirmed

By Updated on

It looks like we have had a major breakthrough with regards to GTA V zombie DLC being a reality. It has been the subject of intense speculation and myths in recent months, but after sharing some details earlier this week we now have further evidence to suggest that zombies in GTA V is definitely on the way.

You may actually not be aware, but Rockstar has been teasing zombie content in GTA V since the launch of the game. There’s actually several references to zombies in GTA V already, in the form of several easter eggs which players can easily discover themselves when cruising around the streets.

For an example of this, check out the two images which we have shared here, showing a zombie advertisement and a second image showing an actual zombie character in Vinewood – albeit an actor dressed in zombie attire.

You may think that these images do nothing to confirm zombies, but wait till you see what we have for you now on top. Contained in the video below is new images showing the latest source code for GTA V.

This has once again been obtained by the GTA V hacker Chr0m3 X MoDz and we can see that on top of the “Main_ZMB” clues that we shared here, we now see further lines of code with the text “SPZOMBIES”.

You’ll agree with us in saying that this is a lot more conclusive and definitely the closest thing that we now have to a confirmation of a GTA V zombies DLC release.

We’re also assuming that “SPZOMBIES” relates to a new Zombies DLC pack that will be for single player only, rather than multi-player. Hopefully if this is all confirmed to be true, we get multiplayer zombies as well as this is a mode that really needs to be enjoyed in co-op mode really for the true experience with friends.

Are you excited that it now looks like we have a GTA V zombie DLC confirmed? Obviously we can’t say 100% until we see a post on Rockstar’s Newswire website, but it looks extremely promising at this point.

Give us your thoughts and reaction to this below.

No, Zombies and GTA do not go together, adding Zombies to GTA V will take away any sense of realism and make a mockery of the game, the whole Zombie phase is over anyway, it worked well for Read Dead and just let just leave it at that
