ECS LIVA specs boost limited to storage

By Updated on

The current ECS LIVA micro PC does just enough of what it needs to, but because this kit comes pre-assembled, apart from the casing, there is not a lot you can do in terms of upgrades. This was always an issue for those of you who wanted more storage, but help is at hand. This is because of the new ECS LIVA Mini White Edition 64 GB.

If you have wanted a ECS LIVA specs boost, then you will be able to get your hands on the new model sometime this month, although no exact date has been given.

Before you get too excited we need to inform you that this new model only offers increased storage and nothing else, so if you had been hoping for a RAM upgrade, then you are out of luck. Having said that, surely 2GB is more than enough for what you would be using this small desktop PC for?

The specs for this 64GB ECS LIVA White Edition are 2GB of DDR3L RAM, Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth 4.0, IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n, 1 USB 3.0, USB 2.0, HDMI and VGA. Looking at those specifications there is pretty much all you need, well not forgetting the Intel Celeron N2807 of course.

We are not certain of its price, and so this will become available once the new model is released later this month. Remember that the ECS LIVA does not come with any operating system installed, and so you will need to do that yourself. Supported operating systems are Windows, including 8.1, Fedora, Ubuntu and others that are Linux-based.
