In-depth NVIDIA SHIELD tablet review over three videos

By Updated on

It was last week when we were treated to a render of what the NVIDIA SHIELD tablet could look like, and a couple of days ago we found out just what the new gaming tablet looks like during its unveiling. That was not all though, as the device also had a companion, the SHIELD controller.

Even though it will be 3 weeks until the NVIDIA SHIELD is released, you can already pre-order one, which you can do so in the US and UK. If you are sitting on the fence and undecided whether to purchase this new gaming tablet or controller, then we have located 3 hands-on video reviews to help you decide.

While it may be insightful to watch an in-depth NVIDIA SHIELD tablet review, surely three of them would be better? It is for this very reason why we have more than one, as you get a far better perspective.

A gamer’s dream tablet – This is how Techno Buffalo describe the NVIDIA SHIELD tablet in its hands-on video, which has a running time of just less than 5 minutes. The video editor goes through all the specs first before testing the device out to see what it has to offer. We also get a sneak peak at its gaming performance, as well as testing out the controller?

In the second video we get a little history of the first NVIDIA SHIELD gaming device before getting on to the tablet, although they do seem to concentrate more on the controller, seeing as though it is a main aspect of gaming on the new tablet. However, we are sure many gamers out there will be wondering why NVIDIA never went for a layout similar to that of the Xbox One controller.

The third and final video is more in-depth and so has a longer running time. The guy in the video describes this as one of the most “innovative and powerful Android tablets,” and we would love to know if you agree with this?

We will be looking at various aspects of the NVIDIA SHIELD tablet in the coming days, so for now just enjoy these three videos.
