With HTC already rumored to be working on the Nexus 9, which is an 8.9-inch device, we have now seen reports that a larger tablet is planned, the HTC T12 along with the T7, which as you would assume are 12-inch and 7-inch tablets.
At the time we never knew what to expect in terms of the HTC T12 design, but a few renders have now come to light as well as a few ideas as to its features, which is expected to be similar to that of the One Series.
HTC T12 Tablet design – Hasan Kaymak has taken the design of the HTC One and then applied this to the T12, so basically just making it larger. However, he has made a few changes in order to make the 12-inch model look better with the various features found on the smaller models.
The most prominent features are the speakers on either side, or top and bottom depending on the orientation of the tablet. We are not sure as to its dimensions, but we can see from one or two renders here that it will be as thin, if not thinner than the iPad Air.
This oversized HTC One M8 will no doubt have a display on par if not better that Retina, maybe even 4K, although that might be asking a bit much.
Some of the other features we can expect to see incorporated to the T12 are BlinkFeed, virtual Android buttons, Android L, although this depends on its release date, and HTC Sense 6.0.
How do you see the rumored HTC T12 comparing to that of other 12-inch Android tablets?
