As most of you know, we are counting down until EA reveals the official FIFA 15 UK cover. We know that Barcelona FC star Messi is the main global star and that former Spurs player Clint Dempsey is featured on the US specific cover. As a result, there are some interesting differences between the two covers for US gamers who are deciding between FIFA 15 PS4 Vs Xbox One.
Some of you are probably not aware, but the team in which Clint Dempsey plays for in the MLS are Seattle Sounders. Their kit sponsor is Xbox, which as you can imagine has caused a few issues behind the scenes with regards to the PS4 version of FIFA 15 in US.

As a result, it has now been confirmed that the PS4 version of FIFA 15 in North America will feature a different box cover. It will still highlight Dempsey as the main man, but on PlayStation versions he will be wearing the USA top rather than the Xbox-sponsored Seattle Sounders shirt.
Looking even further, we can see another difference in the fact that the PS4 box will feature Nike branding on the cover, while the Xbox One cover features rival manufacturer Adidas.
EA must have had a mini crisis settling all of the respective licenses to ensure that all parties are kept happy before going live with the USA cover announcement.
We can’t wait to see what the UK cover will look like. If you are a US ‘soccer’ fan looking forward to the game, let us know your thoughts on the differences between the Dempsey cover – it would have been impossible for Sony to advertise Dempsey in the Xbox-sponsored kit of course.
