It’s iOS 8 beta 4 release time and we will likely see the next download appear in Apple’s Dev Center within the next 20 hours, or if the next preview build skips Monday it will certainly be available by the end of Tuesday.
Today, we just wanted to remind Product Reviews readers about the likely iOS 8 beta 4 release date, and of course the expected time we should see a download go live for developers.
Beta 3 arrived at around 7PM in the UK, or 2PM in New York, so you can expect around the same time again considering this has been a pattern for Apple in the past. If you’re in the Pacific Time Zone, then you can expect the release notes and updated software to arrive in the Dev Center around 11AM if all goes to plan.
The most stable seed yet – we’re expecting iOS 8 beta 4 to be the best release yet with the notes detailing many bug fixes, and a few problems like a black screen and irregular crashing to be fixed. These issues have been reported to us by our readers and developer, although we’d love to hear about any bug fixes you’re hoping to see in the next instalment?
We’ve seen what a big deal the new OS is for developers with a new coding language, better security, and also how this allows for users to benefit from Touch ID for 3rd party iPad and iPhone apps later this year. There’s also some great health-related features, which might improve more with additional options in the coming betas, or by the Gold Master.

Update: Beta 4 is now live.
