The 2014 World Cup is now over, with Germany becoming the new world champions and becoming the number one team in the latest FIFA world rankings. FIFA fans are naturally now looking forward to the release of FIFA 15 later this year and any upgrades that the German players may receive.
We have already taken a look at the likes of Raheem Sterling and James Rodriguez in recent weeks, but now we wanted to switch our attention on Thomas Muller. He was arguably Germany’s star player in the World Cup and thanks to his performances for club Bayern Munich last season, he is probably very likely to be in line for an FIFA 15 player upgrade from EA as well.
The player has a decent 85 rating on FIFA 14 by default, but one prediction from FIFA community specialist Nepenthez suggests that Thomas Muller will be an 87 rating on FIFA 15.
Not only that, but he also believes that EA may decide to change his FIFA 15 Ultimate Team card position from RM to Striker. He actually played many games as a striker for Bayern last season and was basically deployed as a striker for Germany too during the World Cup.
With that in mind, it’s a great prediction in our opinion although we wouldn’t even be surprised if he was rated higher than an 87, perhaps 88-89 instead. Remember that EA has already given Muller a special 89 card before for last season so it’s possible.
Check out the video below and let us know what your personal opinion is on what Thomas Muller’s FIFA 15 rating should be. Do you agree that this player can’t stay on an 85 for FIFA 15 after so much improvement?
