The 2014 Golf Open Championship started on July 13th and goes on until the 20th, which is this Sunday, and so it isn’t too late to keep up-to-date with all the goings on by the use of either an Android or iOS app. These are official apps from R&R, and so you know that you will have up-to-the-minute news.
What these Golf Open 2014 apps for iOS and Android offer are – tee times for each day, live scores and leaderboard, video highlights, along with a guide on the course. Even these features alone will help bring you closer to the game.
That’s not all, as there are also live tweets from the event, which you can interact with and also stats on each player, although that will not matter too much now seeing as though you already know each player’s form because we are already a few days in to the tournament.
Going back to the Open Championship leaderboard section of the app, you will see the position on the left followed by the golfer’s name, hole, today and to par, and so you might want to take a look now seeing as though things are underway for another day and to give you an idea how things progress through the day
We have to warn you though, some of the big guns are struggling, although this comes as great news for some of those who were not in the running to become The Open Championship 2014 winner.
