Opera Max Android data saver, iOS app soon

By Peter Chubb - Jul 16, 2014

Opera Max beta is already available for Android, but as yet there is no sign of the iOS version. Some of you may think this is strange because the iPhone and iPad usually get many of these big apps first or at the same time, and so they will not be happy with the wait.

If you visit the website for the Opera Max Android data saver, you will see that the iOS app should be with us soon seeing as though the icon already appears on the site, we just don’t know how long it will be before it is released.

When you head over to the website it is only one Opera app that is available to all three platforms and that is Opera Mini, which was recently updated for iOS.

What is Opera Max? When you go online on your mobile device you are subjected to an array of photos and videos, as well as a huge amount of messages via apps, but the problem is all this makes your data plan run out fast.

If you download Opera Max, which is a free app for your phone, it will extend the life of your data plan by up to 50 percent. If you already have it downloaded on your Android smartphone or tablet, then please let us know if it is as good as Opera tells us.
