Mass Effect 4 news update within days

By Alan Ng - Jul 15, 2014

Mass Effect fans may have given up hope on seeing a Mass Effect 4 release date in 2014, but it seems that all hope is not lost just yet. We have some pleasing details to bring you now, as developers Bioware have confirmed that a Mass Effect 4 news update is just days away.

After the infamous Mass Effect 3 ending, there are plenty of questions still to be asked in the series and any new game is still going to be met with enormous hype.

Bioware has been careful not to show too much Mass Effect 4 information too early, but we have seen various concept images during development just to wet the appetites a bit and remind fans that a new Mass Effect game is still on the way.

Now, we can tell you that Mass Effect 4 is going to be shown at San Diego Comic Con, which starts on July 26. A full Mass Event 4 Comic Con panel is going to be in full flow, with BioWare Edmonton and Montreal team members in attendance and ready to talk about the game and take your questions.

As we’ve seen from traditional Comic Con panels in the past, it could be the moment when viewers with tickets get to see some sneak peak Mass Effect 4 footage or images to make the event worthwhile.

If that happens, expect there to be leaks galore following on from July 26. It may not sound too exciting, but don’t be surprised if new Mass Effect 4 gameplay is shown at Comic Con – it would be a great place to do it.
