Google Glass GPS on a motorcycle

By Updated on

When the first Google Glass review videos started to arrive there had been concern, especially when the idea of being distracted while using autos came into question. If you’re wondering what it might be like wearing Google Glass while on a Motorcycle, then you can find out with a video below this article.

What impressed us was how good the Google Glass GPS navigation can be for motorcycle users, and you can see this in action from around 30 seconds in and watch the video creator take a ride with the navigation shown on a mini map in the top right. This would certainly make getting to places easier while on a motorcycle.

On the popular Jerry Rig Everything YouTube channel, the description to this video explains the guy reviewing Google Glass had been waiting for this moment over a year. Once they got hands-on while on a motorcycle, they found the experience “futuristic” and also note it would be “distracting at times”. This alone raises the safety concerns once again while driving or on a motorcycle, and this review revealed Google Glass is most distracting when “checking your blind spot”.
