It seems like so long ago that we were being treated to some amazing things at CES, one of which was a small projector from ZTE. We can now tell you that the Sprint LivePro Android Projector is now ready for release and can be yours for the grand old price of $0.
Okay, so we know that you do not get anything for free in this world because you still have to tie yourself into a contract for a set amount of time, which we will get to in a moment.
We are not sure if ZTE will allow other carriers to offer the smart projector to their customers, but for now those of you in the US will have to make do with just the one, which as we already told you is Sprint.
The Sprint LivePro is powered by Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, which is a bit of an old version now, although it’s not like it will need the latest version of KitKat seeing as though its demands are much less than that of a Nexus 5.
The small device comes with a 4-inch touchscreen display, along with a power bank and hotspot. When you have the projector set up you will be able to view images and videos from 10 to 120 inches. As for connectivity, you get Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE, HDMI and USB.
Sprint LivePro monthly price plans – As we previously mentioned, you do not have to pay for the projector outright, but you have to sign a 24-month contract with a choice of data plans. You have to pay a base charge of $18.75 per month, and then choose your plan from 3GB of 3G/4G, 6GB and 12GB for $34.99, $49.99 and $79.99 per month respectively. For more details visit Sprint.
