The Moto 360 watch design has been discussed in a new video featuring Lior Ron, Product Lead for the new smartwatch by Motorola Mobility. There’s a few things that will set this smartwatch apart from many more entering a new industry, and most noticeable would be the round display rather than square like the majority.
We’ve embedded the Moto 360 watch video below, so you can listen to why the form factor was chosen for their intelligent watch. Like many more hitting the market this year, the Moto 360 watch will do much more than tell time at a price point a lot higher than some would be willing to pay.
The cost is yet to be revealed along with a release date, but you can expect to pay a lot more than competitors like LG thanks to luxury being part of Motorola’s plan with the aim to let customers express themselves on the wrist.
Do you think the Moto 360 watch looks a lot more fashionable when compared to other Android smart watches? What’s your thoughts on the round design rather than a more traditional square approach for a smartwatch? Apparently, the round face allows for a bigger display.
