It has been a long time in waiting, but finally Divinity Original Sin is available for those that placed their faith in the initial Kickstarter project. To those that are planning to buy the game to play this weekend, we have the perfect live stream to get you prepared.
Divinity Original Sin is the prequel to Divine Divinity and was originally supposed to launch towards the end of 2013. Unfortunately though it didn’t happen and gamers had become worried on what their investment had become and if the game was still on the way.
Six months on though and Divinity Original Sin is now out on Steam, priced at $40. The game looks incredible from what we’ve seen and the big factor in the price is that it includes access to the Divinity Original Sin toolkit at no extra cost.
This is a massive deal since it allows players to create their own single-player and multiplayer content at any time they like. Once you have created a world that you are happy with, you can share it online and let everyone else enjoy it.
This means that the game effectively has endless potential and you’ll soon be thinking that it is $40 well spent if you didn’t initially buy into the Kickstarter fund.
Check out the live stream that we have provided for you below and let us know what you think of the game. Will you be making a purchase over the weekend? For those that are already playing, let us know if you think it is better than Diablo 3.
