Google has various goals when it comes to its new line of Android Wear devices, and that is to make you look at your smartphone a lot less and concentrate more on what is on your wrist. Smartwatches may have had a slow start, but if Google has anything to do with it, they are set to become the next big thing, and it is the LG G Watch and Samsung Gear 2 and Live that is at the forefront of this new segment.
Samsung Gear 2 vs. LG G Watch features – Both these Android Wear smartwatches go about things differently in terms of hardware and its own UI, but they do look rather similar on the outside. Having said that, it is surprising just how limited you are in design when it comes to a rectangle or round watch face.
We have two videos for your viewing pleasure that pays close attention to these differences, and to see if they really are as good as Google, LG and Samsung would have you believe.
The first video looks at the Samsung Gear 2 features compared to the G Watch side-by-side and has an awesome soundtrack to accompany it. However, the second video is far more in-depth and looks at gear Live and how this is just the start of things to come.
Don’t be drawn in to propaganda that people no longer wear watches because that is a pure lie, as a huge portion of the market wears a watch every day, so why not take advantage of that segment, which is just what he likes of Google aims to do.
Having said that, we know that many of you have replaced your standard watch with one of these smartwatches and up until now nothing has been able to replace it, but could we now be at a stage where that will change?
Before you come to your own conclusion, it is worth remembering that the Moto 360 has yet to be released, which to us looks like a far better solution, There is also the fact that Apple is all set to release the iWatch, and we are sure this will be of a premium design rather than rubber and plastic.
We know that you will wonder why we have looked at the Gear 2 as well as the Live, we just wanted to point you in the direction of how the older watch from Samsung compares to that of the newer model with Android Wear.
