The age of the smartwatch is finally here because many of the top smartphone makers have already shown their intention, with Samsung already leading the pack. However, we are not certain how long they will stay ahead once Motorola release the Moto 360 smartwatch.
We already told you yesterday that the LG G Watch and the Samsung Gear Live were already up for pre-order, where they were also previewed once again during Google I/O. However, the Moto 360 also had some hands-on time, but as yet still has no release date.
However, we fear that it might be some time yet because looking at the video below we can see that there is an issue with its responsiveness. The guy testing out the new Android Wear device seems to have to tap and scroll a couple of times before it registers the input.
Okay, so the guy could be rushing things and also the fact that this might not be the final release version, and so Motorola will be able to look into this.
However, one thing they will not be able to fix is the black bar at the bottom of the Moto 360 smartwatch. Some of our readers have already picked up on this and have been concerned, asking if this is because this is a test model?
We can tell you that the black bar will be on the final release, as it is the circuit board for the circular LCD, meaning it is something you will just have to live with.
