The Witcher 3 Vs Batman Arkham Knight release

By Alan Ng - Jun 22, 2014

Although 2015 is still a while off, gamers have some exciting months to look forward to next year, looking ahead at the gaming calendar. February 2015 is a particular highlight, as we now could see a scenario where two massive games release on the very same day.

These are Batman Arkham Knight and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, two of the most anticipated games at the moment regardless of what platform you are on. We already know that Witcher 3 has been scheduled for a launch on February 24th 2014, but now some interesting details have turned up with regards to Batman.

A Microsoft listing went live over the weekend for Batman Arkham Knight on Xbox One, revealing a release date of February 24 2014, the exact same day when The Witcher 3 is out.

Microsoft soon realized their error and removed the crucial date from their listing, but not before a screenshot was captured and sent to the masses over at Neogaf.

Both games are published by Warner Bros in the US, so this is very interesting if they plan to launch both on the same day. If this is to be the case, then which game will you devote most of the time to?

It’s not a confirmation yet though of course, not forgetting that it was only last week when Kevin Conroy, the voice of Batman revealed in an interview that Batman Arkham Knight would actually be out in January instead.

Does that mean he was lying, or confused? Either way, brace yourself to spend some money in February. Given the choice ahead, let us know if you would rather spend your money on The Witcher 3, Batman, or both.

why do you keep saying 2014?

Batman looks cool like the others in the series, but Witcher 3 looks INSANE. I have not played 1 or 2 (I play on the PS), so am totally looking forward to it.
